Business Analytics Association of Faculty of Commerce and Management conducted a 2-day workshop on the topic “Stock Market: An Ocean of Opportunity” sponsored by SEBI. The experts of the workshop were Mr. Amit Kumar Pandey and Mr. Sushil Alewa (SEBI’s Research Analyst). The Faculty coordinators were Dr. Sunil Kumar Verma and Mr. Nitin Sharma.
On Day 1, the experts started the session with a pre-test of the participants to understand their technical understanding of the Stock Market. The experts taught about the Primary market, Secondary market, Mutual funds, and stock market trading mechanism. A live session on Fundamental Analysis was demonstrated.
On Day 2, Demo accounts were opened by the students and derivative trading and equity trading on virtual platforms were practiced. Hands-on Technical account analysis was practiced. The students had shown interest in the workshop and test results demonstrated that they learned and gained concepts about Stock Market Operations.
