Ms. Zainab Asim is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Commerce and Management, SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. She is pursuing her doctoral studies in Operations Research under the topic “Applications of Mathematical Programming Techniques under certain and uncertain environment”. She has published her research in various international reputed journals and has also actively presented her research in various International and National Conferences. In September 2020, she has received certification on the PhD Summer School  “Combinatorial Optimization at Work (CO@WORK2020)” organized by Technische Universität (TU), Berlin, Germany in cooperation with the Berlin Mathematical School with support of the Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+. She is a lifetime member of Indian Society for Probability and Statistics (ISPS). She is also serving as a reviewer for journals (Kybernetes, Journal of Modelling in Management) from Emerald Publications.

During December 2019, she received “Dr. A.M. Mathai Award” for Best Research Paper by Indian Society of Probability and Statistics (ISPS). She also got “Best paper Award” for her research paper at Online International Conference on “Role of Management, Education and Social Sciences in Responsible Research and Innovations: Challenges and Realities” organized by London School of Management Education, UK during August 2020. She is also conferred with “Young Researcher Award 2020” by Institute of Scholars (InSc).
