AURA – The Festival of Fun and Learning!
SGT University, Gurugram, is known for its rich co-curricular activities, including several events and celebrations of festivals like Diwali, Holi, Christmas, etc. The University host round-the-year events like – “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat“, Symponious, Synergy, Style Bonanza, YUGAM 22, etc.
In this ever-increasing list of events, the Faculty of Commerce & Management, SGT University, contributes a student-oriented cultural event – AURA, which has already become a trending event on the university campus.
This event is organised and coordinated by students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management (FCAM) under the guidance of the faculty.
Aura-2022 commenced on 2nd June 2022 amid much fanfare. The two-day function saw 11 events with the participation of nearly 250 students from 18 institutions/universities across Delhi NCR.
On the first day of Aura 22, Prof. (Dr.) O.P. Kalra, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sumer Singh, Advisor, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Dixit, Joint-Director University Development Initiatives, Prof. (Dr.) Rishi Dubey, Dean, Prof. (Dr.) K. Tara Shankar, Associate Dean & CRC Head, Faculty of Commerce & Management of SGT University, inaugurated the event.
Day One of Aura comprised of events like Expression (Face Paint Competition), Trap the Scrap (Best out of waste recycling), Extempore, Admania (Advertisement competition), Nail-Art competition, Collage making competition, and Flower accessory making.
On Day two of Aura, four amazing competitions were hosted – Kanth Madhuriya (Solo & Group singing competition), Har Kara (Street Play competition), Nritya Krita (Solo & Group dance competition) and Hunar Ka Jalwa (Talent Hunt competition). Students from different institutions/universities participated with great vigour and zeal.
The massive turnaround of the students added colour, youthfulness and vitality to “AURA-2022“. The event concluded with prize distribution in the presence of Prof. Dr O.P. Kalra, Vice-Chancellor of SGT University.
The event was conducted under the guidance of faculty coordinators Ms Nishi & Ms Shipra and Student coordinators Mohit Dahiya & Stuti.
